Nigeria’s leading telecommunications company, MTN has confirmed plans to build a state-of-the-art head office in Lagos.
Chief of Executive Officer, MTN Nigeria, Karl Toriola disclosed this recently in an interview in Lagos.
“We have announced formally that we are going to be building a state-of-the-art, world class head office for MTN in Lagos. That is a four-year programme. And we have continued in multiple other facets to really re-affirm our commitment along deepening our roots in Nigeria,” he said.
Toriola said his company has commenced series of activities aimed at “deepening our roots in Nigeria” adding that the company has committed so much funds to the issues of security, health and other infrastructure projects.
MTN boss who spoke on the apprehensions over 5-G network being harmful, said the radiation that comes from people’s television sets is even more than those coming from 5-G network masts.
He said as an engineer, he found it completely ridiculous for Nigerians and especially religious leaders to link 5-G networks to health complications.
