T2 Signs Strategic Deal with Knot Solutions to Drive Nigeria’s Digital Telecom Transformation

Telecom operator T2 has signed a multi-million dollar partnership with India’s Knot Solutions to modernise its core Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS), in a move aimed at accelerating Nigeria’s digital transformation.

The agreement was sealed during the ongoing GITEX Nigeria Tech Expo in Lagos and marks a major milestone in T2’s four-phase roadmap Stabilisation, Modernisation, Transformation, and Growth.

Under the deal, Knot Solutions will deploy its RaptrDXP™ platform, a cloud-native, AI-driven system that enables real-time billing, personalised service bundles, digital self-care tools, and advanced customer engagement features. The platform is designed to streamline T2’s backend operations while improving user experience across mobile and digital services.

T2 said the partnership reflects its ambition to become Nigeria’s leading “Digital Lifestyle Partner”, building on earlier network infrastructure upgrades with Huawei. The dual transformation strategy network modernisation with Huawei and digital system overhaul with Knot Solutions will, according to the company, enhance scalability, reduce operational costs, and provide more reliable services for millions of subscribers.

“This collaboration with Knot Solutions is a strategic step in reshaping our systems to deliver smarter, faster, and more customer-focused digital services,” a T2 spokesperson said at the signing ceremony.

Founded in Bengaluru, Knot Solutions is renowned for its telecom software innovations across Asia and the Middle East. Its expansion into Nigeria through T2 is expected to strengthen the operator’s competitiveness in a fast-changing telecom market.

The rollout of the new systems will begin in phases over the coming months, with full integration targeted for completion by 2026.
