Nigeria: NCC seeks stakeholders input on three regulatory instruments

The management of the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC), has called on stakeholders o make input at public inquiries on three draft regulatory instrument.

NCC, Director Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde, who announced it in a statement on Monday, listed the three draft regulatory instruments as Registration of Telephone Subscribers Regulations; SIM Replacement Guidelines and Spectrum Trading Guidelines.

The statement said in accordance with Section 57 of the Act, Public Inquiries in respect of the draft regulatory instruments will hold virtually at 11.00am.

It said, “Registration of Telephone Subscribers Regulation, Tuesday, October 5, 2021; SIM Replacement Guidelines, Tuesday, October 5,2021; Spectrum Trading Guidelines, Tuesday, October 5, 2021

“Interested stakeholders are by this notice invited to make written submissions on the subject and participate in the Public Inquiries. Details of the virtual meeting will be forwarded to interested attendees prior to the Public Inquiries.

“All submissions must reach the Commission on or before Friday, September 24, 2021 and should be addressed to: The Executive Vice Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission, Plot 423, Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja; ATTN: Director, Legal and Regulatory Services,” he said.
