Nigeria: Dangote Petroleum Refinery Reduces PMS Price to Below N900/Litre
In a move aimed at providing relief to Nigerians during the festive season, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of its Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) product to N899.50 per litre. This comes as a follow-up to its earlier price reduction to N970 per litre on November 24.
The new price, effective immediately, is designed to alleviate transportation costs during the holiday period, as announced in a statement by the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, Anthony Chiejina.
Additionally, the refinery has introduced a special offer to further benefit consumers. For every litre of PMS purchased on a cash basis, customers will be eligible to buy an extra litre on credit, backed by a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.
“To alleviate transport costs during this holiday season, Dangote Refinery is offering a holiday discount on PMS. From today, our petrol will be available at N899.50 per litre at our truck loading gantry or SPM. Furthermore, for every litre purchased on a cash basis, consumers will have the opportunity to buy another litre on credit,” Chiejina stated.
Expressing gratitude to Nigerians for their continued support, Chiejina reaffirmed the refinery’s commitment to providing premium quality petroleum products that are competitively priced and environmentally friendly.
“The Dangote Petroleum Refinery remains steadfast in its mission to end Nigeria’s dependence on substandard and ‘blended’ imported products. Our products are engineered to meet the highest environmental and engine-friendly standards, ensuring the safety of human health, machinery, and the environment,” Chiejina added.
As Nigeria approaches the festive season, Dangote Petroleum Refinery reiterates its dedication to supporting the nation’s energy needs while offering solutions that ease the financial burden on citizens.
