Ikeja Electric will remain NEPA until we start enjoying power supply 24/7 – Lagosians
Electricity consumers in Lagos have urged the Ikeja Electric to supply 24 hours a day, seven days a week electricity in the state to move from the era of the National Electric Power Authority (NEPA).
The Ikeja Electric in a tweet on Friday said: “Again, we are not “NEPA” but Ikeja Electric.”
In a reaction to the tweet, Steven Olasite said: “We still call you “NEPA” because we are yet to spot the difference. Epileptic power supply, and climbing the electricity pole to disconnect power is still part and parcel of your operations. So, change for the better!”
Chuma Nnoli: “I saw a tweet from Ikeja Electric reminding us they are not NEPA.
“It’s laughable because if they want us to stick to their new name they should stop “taking light.”
“You can’t be doing the same thing NEPA was doing and expect us to call you a new name with your old ways intact.”
The Hair Plug said: “You will remain NEPA until we have 24hrs light, 7 days a week, 31 days in a month and 365 days in a year.”
