ARTSPLIT partners Omenka magazine to hold seminar series on Nov. 4

ARTSPLIT in collaboration with Omenka magazine will on Friday November 4, present the next in its seminar series themed ‘Art as an Alternative Investment’ at Alliance Française/Mike Adenuga Centre Lagos.

Begun in 2012, the seminar is timely in increasing knowledge amongst collectors, wealth managers and financial institutions alike, as African art continues to rise in value domestically and internationally.

The 2022 edition will highlight the African art market trends and performance as well as outline the benefits of art in strategic portfolio diversification.

The programme is as scheduled below:

‘Financial Methodologies Responsible for Key Changes in the Structure of the African Art Market’- Ruarc Peffers, Founding Director, Aspire Art Auctions

‘The Making of a Collector; Guiding Principles, Collecting Strategies’- Oba Nsugbe, Head of Chambers, Pump Court Chambers
