ARCON DG Advocates for Industry-Wide Adoption of Global Best Practices
The Director-General of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo, has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Brands Journalists Association of Nigeria (BJAN) in its efforts to uphold global standards in the advertising industry.
During a courtesy visit by BJAN executives, Dr. Fadolapo emphasized the importance of industry regulation to ensure compliance with international best practices. He highlighted ARCON’s ongoing initiatives aimed at fostering fairness, equity, and transparency within the sector.
In response, BJAN Chairman expressed appreciation for Dr. Fadolapo’s support and acknowledged the significant impact of ARCON’s reforms on the industry. He reiterated the association’s commitment to working closely with ARCON on initiatives that drive industry growth and enhance consumer protection.
As part of this collaboration, BJAN extended an invitation to Dr. Fadolapo to participate in its upcoming Consumer Day program on March 14, an event dedicated to raising awareness about consumer rights and promoting fair business practices.
